ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Social Media Executive you will be required to oversee social media scheduling/monitoring, with a specific focus on Facebook and Twitter as well as Snapchat and Instagram platforms.

Assisting the Social Media and wider team on strategic ideas and campaigns will play a key role, and a passion for monitoring the future of digital and trends is essential.

Key duties include:

  • Responsibility for planning and executing all digital marketing strategies across a portfolio of shopping centres, leisure schemes and retail parks – including social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Build and maintain our clients’ social media presence
  • Work with Social Media and wider teams to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Source and prepare regular content to ensure all digital platforms are up to date and delivered in a voice relevant and tailored to the target audience
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Research and identify trends and insights as well as keeping up to date with emerging technologies
  • Liaise regularly with internal Marketing Team to create innovative ideas and deliver exceptional client service
  • Collaborate with agencies and other external suppliers

  • Minimum of 1 (preferably 2) years’ relevant experience
  • Experience of working within a marketing agency or retail environment
  • Strong interest and a passion for all digital platforms
  • Experience of using web and social media platforms regularly, including advertising
  • Must be capable of and willing to manage projects – initiation through to completion
  • A high degree of assertiveness and creativity
  • Unyielding attention to detail that results in zero errors
  • Strong MS office skills and IT literacy
  • Ability to prioritise work under pressure
  • A flexible and a proactive individual able to work under their own initiative
  • An energetic and proactive “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Outstanding customer service and ability to monitor enquiries

Other Personal Characteristics

The candidate needs to have good awareness of digital trends with a vision to deliver unique social media campaigns, whilst confidently understanding Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram and Pinterest.
