The Department for Transport is meeting with car manufacturers and mobile companies in 2019 to discuss the idea that could see mobile phones being set to automatically stop working in moving cars, putting an end to the strangely popular practice of taking selfies at the wheel. That also means no more angry tweeting in a fit of road rage! The dramatic move is being considered after over 17,500 people were taken to court for using their phone while driving in the last year alone. Find our more here.
