Bewonder* created a two-day ‘Wellness Weekender’ event during Mental Health Awareness Week, where customers could chill out in the ‘Zen Den’ which was scented by Rituals, spin the Wellness Wheel to win occupier discounts and branded merchandise, and engage in a letter writing station, writing a letter to their younger self. Customers could also attend five live talks by local experts, themed around gut health and nutrition, body positivity, self-belief and mental health.
Across the weekend, Union Square partnered with five stakeholders, including local speakers, a TEDx talker, and Gray’s School of Art to design the Wellness Weekender tote bags.
As well as stakeholders, the centre also collaborated with 10 occupiers who offered exclusive discounts, merchandise and vouchers to give away, with some participating occupiers reporting a +11% YoY and a +13% YoY increase in sales.
The event generated 118k impressions, 10.3k engagements, and reached an audience of 87.1k across social media. Mobile display and in-stream audio advertising also delivered an additional 2205k impressions, further broadening reach and driving brand awareness for Union Square.
